I have a 2000 boxster S fitted with a CDR 22 I want to fit a CD changer the fitting kit is already in the car, I just need the changer. Are there any units from manufactures other than Becker that will fit and allow me to play MP3 CDs without having to use an FM modulater, or are there any units apart from the Becker units that can be used with my CDR22

Just a thought outside the box. I have fitted a Harmon Kardon Drive and Play which gives full control of my iPod when locked in the centre glove box. It plays through the standard radio. If you have an iPod it is miles better than a cd changer. It works so well my wife had to get herself an iPod Nano just to use it. There are quite a few devices out there giving you iPod control some take over from the CD changer and let the radio control it so you don't have to have the extra controls and screen as I have.

Have a search around as I posted a thread about fitting the unit.
