CDR 24 MP3 Compatibility

I think this has been discussed on the forum before, but sorry I can't find it!

Should the standard CDR 24 be capable of playing MP3 CD-Rs? I thought I read that it was. However, when I insert the disc, I get the word "STOP" on the display!

Any ideas/ suggestions?

Thanks

Chris

I've since found out from other forums that the CDR 24 isnt MP3 compatible - not sure about the autochanger though.

Regards

David

Some CDR-24 are mp3 compatible - it all depends on the model year. Its only the most recent that are i believe.

I've not yet come across a CD changer that can play MP3 files. As far as I'm aware its only the Head unit PCM 2.1 that can play MP3 files and then only from a CD. If you want MP3 playback you are better off getting a dension or mobridge device and using a memory stick or i pod to store your files.
