Is there one ? so i can wire an MP3 player or I pod in ? or would it be the radio transmitter option ?

Cheers

Steve

Yes, as Steve says, you have to make an optical connection to the MOST bus. The CDR23 gateway needs programming with a PST2 for it to recognise a CD-Changer or Denison Gateway, I have some installation and programming instructions for a the Denison to a CDR23 if you would like a copy. The connections on the back of the CDR23 are shown in the pic:

A - Black - Power Supply
B - Brown - (Loudspeakers)
C - Yellow - CAN Comfort
D - Green - Telephone
E - Blue - Not Used
F - Antenna
G - MOST optical waveguide

So does this mean I can programme it myself ? Or will my Indy have to do it for me once i get the Denison ? And Do i need to have an Ipod for this or will an MP3 player with an output work just as well. No problem with the Ipod just need to buy one !!

If you don't already have a CD changer that you are replacing with a Denison interface (which mimics the output of a CD changer) then it has to be programmed by someone with a PST2 or PIWIS. I guess that Denison, or someone else, make a similar interface for an mp3 player, but the iPod is the popular choice.

Edit: Just to clarify - if you already have a CD changer, then the Denison just plugs into the MOST loop, and no programming is necessary.

Thanks Richard. I now fully understand. Best buy myself and Ipod !

I'm sure Mike at Zentrum will be able to program the unit ready for the denison

Thanks

Steve
