Hello,
I would like to introduce myself first. My name is Benno Kratz, I live in Germany and I am a member of the local Sportwagen-Club, http://www.sportwagen-club.de. The club mainly handles most subjects concerning Porsches. Then, there are different forums, one of them is all about the "Jubilee" or "Celebration" 911/964 Carrera4 of 1993 model, or better as "30 Jahre 911 Special Edition". All together 911 were built of the Originals, in a very dark "viola" colour, plus many export models. The number of export models produced is not quiet known. Therefore, we like to write to all Porsche-Clubs in different countries and ask them for some cooperation to get a clearer view to establish a list, to see where all these BEAUTYS are and maybe still running. And if possible to find out with which number they are fitted out with. We, in the Club, do know that this is an enormous task but someone has to make a start. The colours on these export 911s can very. What we know so far is, that 17 Special Editions were brought to Australia and about 30 were destined for the UK.
Would it be possible for you to have access to some records or dealerships to send these, any kind of, to me, for our Club records only.
I personally own one with the no. 426, in viola and 44000 km on the clock only. The car is still in his original condition.
Yours sincerely
Benno Kratz
