Central Arm Rest lid

Hi,

Does anyone know whether it is possible to replace the standard central console arm rest lid (that covers the cubby with cigarette lighter etc) with a leather version embossed with the Porsche logo ? I have seen them fitted to dealer cars and again today at the Porsche driving experience at Silverstone, but my dealer doesn't seem to be able to find it listed as a part.

Many thanks !

Stuart

This is a frequent question and as far as I'm aware the answer has always been that this option (CUV I think) is not available as a retrofit, but I have also read that if you know someone with this option fitted in the colour you want they may be able to order it as a replacement part for you.

Gutted I missed the option but when I asked it was similar to what Snarf has pointed out..

You need to speak to your friendly salesman and see if they will order it as an option on another customers new car, they remove the option and fit the standard one to the new car whilst selling you the optioned version.

Seems a right load of hassle, so I never proceeded with it..
However I haven't looked at the aftermarket for a while...

Yes, that makes more sense, I'm sure that could work but as you say quite a bit of hassle.

CUV Storage Compartment with Logo (model specific)
CPT Storage Compartment with Porsche crest

Those are the codes that I know of..
If your interior is black then I wouldn't see it being as difficult, however my interior is Cocoa, so a little bit more hassle than the norn []

It really works if you have the centre console, rear section in leather then the above options ensure the run of stitching is continuous. I can't believe you can't buy them???
