Central Locking / Door Handle

Hello fellow 3.2'ers,
Does anybody have any experience of the door locking mechanism and how its all screwed together (or otherwise in my case). I have been finding that when I've locked the car, if I subsequently try the passenger door you can feel resistence and the locking button lifts. Ocasionally it lifts so far the the door will unlock. Is this just a case of adjustment required ? Anybody else had something similar?
Secondly, the remote central locking will lock the car but not unlock it, it used to work! Any ideas ?

Cheers,
Phil

It's a very simple setup. I had a similar problem and it turned out that the trigger on the outer handle had broken it's lugs, so there was some play in the mechanism. I took the door card out, only two 8mm bolts hold the handle to the door and I had the whole thing out in minutes. I got a new trigger at a Porsche autojumble - you can't get them separately new, I think you have to get the whole handle. Your central locking woes could well be part of the same issue.
