Evening. As a new member and owner of my first Porsche I need a little help with my un responsive central locking on my 2000 C4.
I haven't driven it for a few weeks so expected the alarm to have switched itself off. Usually this just needs a turn of the key and a blip to turn off the alarm as it activates.
This time however the alarm went off and only switched off after repeated blipping of the key.
Ok but now the car is locked on the passenger door, luggage compartment and filler cap. The central locking doesn't work but the car can be opened and locked with the key and driven. The alarm / immobiliser light flashes on the dash.
Is there a simple reset I can do or is it a garage job?
Apart from that I've loved every minute of the car so far.
Thanks in advance,
Paul
