Central Locking Relay or Wiring Diagram

Hi,

Can anyone help me to find the central locking relay for a 1997 C2S please? Alternatively, does anyone know where I can download the wiring diagram for my 993 please?

Thanks in advance.

Richard.

Hi Richard,
There is a wiring diagram in the 993 technical (workshop) manual - which has been scanned by someone and can sometimes be found as a download - I forget where I found it - but try a search. It's so huge that I don't have it on my laptop and it's certainly too big to email by a long way!

I was looking at it at the weekend when replying to your other thread - I don't remember seeing a central locking reply - but the diagram is spread over many pages so it's easy to miss stuff.

Thanks Mark. Will try a search. BTW, I spoke with Hamilton and Palmer's specealist and the conclusion we came to was that it was unlikely to be the alarm and could possibly be the comfort circuit or of course the Central Locking system.

It's a control unit under the right side seat.
In the diagrams, you'll find it on page 2.

What's a "comfort circuit"???
In effect Mark this is the system that allows the lights to stay on a little longer after turning the engine off and that allows power to the window motors with the door open etc.

Hi,
Try www.cannell.co.uk look in manuals
They are on line manuals for Porsche, BMW etc.
You will not be able to download as it is to big but you can scan through and print pages as required, I have used the manual quite a lot
