Now after blasting around in the cab for a couple of days, it's to start fixing the little problems.

1. Clutch action seems abit strange( it works fine and no slipping) when you let it out it's almost like it has a two stage action. Any ideas
2. One of the seat motor switches doesn't seem to work , can they be fixed is it difficult to replace them etc?
3. When using the remote central locking the drivers side button does seem to have quite enough power to pop up. It works fine on the key. Again any ideas?

Thanks

1. That's not the normal way of the clutch. It could benefit from a fluid change and bleed, maybe one of the cylinders is part it's best but if that makes no difference then ultimately it could lead to a new clutch (hopefully many years away )

2. The seats come out easily so you can work on them with plenty of space

3. The remote alarm will be an aftermarket fitment, strange that the key operates the central locking but the remote struggles. Do you have to hold the key for a long while?

I've had a look at the clutch pedal, it sets about 3/4 cm higher than the brake pedal, this is about the travel of the second part of the movement. Are the pedals normally level?

The clutch as I said seems fine , it has no slip, pulls away fine in second, it's very strange.

As for the central locking on the key the knob gots up and down fine, I think it may be the motor that powers the central locking, are they expensive and difficult to get to?

The height is adjustable so don't worry about that. I suspect you have a hydraulic issue. It's not dear to replace the master and slave cylinders, but bleeding is a bleeding pain.

Bit of an outside bet, but I had a similar sensation with my clutch pedal a couple of months ago and after much digging around it turned out to be one of the fixings under the dash that holds the pedal assembly to the bulkhead, had come slightly loose thus imparting a slightly off centre sensation to the pedal movement. A couple of washers under the nut then allowed me to tighten it back up fully removing the lateral movement from the pedal action.

Otherwise, probably hydraulic, like wot they sed.....[:D]
