Although its just accepted as the norm if you have a 911 the 944 missed out on this classic Porsche touch. Earlier today whilst trying to fix my non working mileometer, I decided to trial swap the rev and speedo counter over. Its physicaly possible but some metal will need to be cut to get the speedo cable to mate up easily with the speedo.

Got some footage of the rev counter in position, it looks rather good but not sure its worth the hassle.

Slightly off topic.

I can never fathom why Porsche would allow the water temp gauge to be obscured by the steering wheel on oval dash models. I would have thought oil and water were key indicators so if I could I would love to swap the fuel with the water temp dial.
