Centre caps

I've lost one of my centre caps, do they just fall off sometimes?! Am a bit concerned it was snitched and they'll be coming back for the others!
Anyway I'm trying to buy a replacement and wondered if anyone had any useful info on where to buy them, fitting etc??
Any advice greatly appreciated! [:)]

They are normally quite a tight fit, though I did have one of mine fall off a few years ago.

There are a few different types and also a few different colours so it's best to make doubly sure before parting with any cash. Most places only seem to sell them in sets of four [:(] for around £50-£90 depending on style/ colour so I think your best bet for one would be the local dealer.

If yours are a genuine part they should have a part number stamped on the back which will help you get the same one.

I've got a set of real ones going spare, came off my car.

I can send a picture tomorrow if they are of interest.

Jim here, your originals will fit as said, i would go for these if you want couloured centre caps, at the end of the day it is 20 quid, and they look Okay.

You got a bargain today BTW !!

Do post pics when ftted.
If the wheels do not sort your vibration take a look at the front brake pistons as discussed.

Old fuch have there size caps. Telesales and d90 will take the same cap as any newer wheel. But your want a cap that follows the wheel shape so it be domed for older wheels and concave for later. There's some cheap copy off the concave ones £10 and they fit and look fine.

looks like porsche have made these caps very limited indeed :D Cool, I shall be looking for breakers willing to part with their cookie cutter centre caps. But I can't seem to find cheap ones that look like they fit...

Found that old cookie cutter centre caps start coming apart (rivets breaking up). There are plastic versions on ebay £10 - £12 that fit and yes either flat or domed, so unless your going concours they work and look okay
