Centre console paint removal

Hi everyone,

my centre console is looking a bit tired so I want to remove the rubberised paint and paint it the same colour as the car (GT Silver). What’s the best method to remove the old paint. I’ve tried nail varnish remover and white spirit, neither of which have done anything. I’m thinking paint stripper maybe a bit too harsh and damage the plastic underneath? Any ideas or advice will be much appreciated.

I think your best bet would be to do a wrap, but you'll need to ensure a smooth surface in order to get the best result.
