Porsche are currently offering a free Certificate of Authenticity to any PCGB member for their vehicle. They usually charge £65 for this.
This gives you all the details of your car when it was produced and is very nice to have especially come resale time.

I have the form, so if anyone wants me to send them a copy send me a PM. Otherwise you can request one for yourselves by emailing customer.assistance@porsche.co.uk with a request.

For those that have sent their forms off how long did it take to get your certificates returned sent mine 3 weeks ago and still nothing, seems a long time? Phil

I posted/hosted the form on another thread. They are done in batches, Andy Goss has to sign each one by hand... I hosted the form here, just click to download: http://idisk.mac.com/alanwoods1/Public/CoA_order_form.pdf

I filled in my form at Modern Event, it arrived approx 6 weeks later. No surprises, Basalt Black paint listed as Z4Z4 with plenty of optional equipment: Electric slide/tilt sunroof, rear wiper, aluminium coloured instruments incl gear lever/handbrake lever, Bi xenon lighting system, PCM (2) with telephone module, BOSE sound system, CD4 six disc CD autochanger, aluminium look package, s/s door entry guards, floor mats, park assist, heated seats, soft ruffled leather with lumbar support, s/s tailpipes. Only thing I would have added is cruise control...... Can only say thanks to the previous owners for looking after her so well :) Paul

It was mentioned that Andy Goss was going to be away, so there would be a delay.

Got mine today. No surprises Lagoon Green Metalic, Full leather, 030 suspension, rear wiper, carrera 18" wheel, window tint and standard radio :)

Got mine yesterday - only took a couple of weeks. Nice document to put with the rest of the history too.

I got my papers at the Boxster & Beyond meeting and posted off the filled in forms for three cars and I am still waiting for a reply from Porsche nearly three months later. Two of them are foreign cars one Italian and one from USA the other is a UK car, is anyone else having the same delay ?

ORIGINAL: Robin I got my papers at the Boxster & Beyond meeting and posted off the filled in forms for three cars and I am still waiting for a reply from Porsche nearly three months later. Our two USA imports took between 2-3 weeks to get the certificates back.

I recieved the three certificates yesterday. They do however contain some elementary errors, for instance the 1973 model year, F series 911 made in October 1972 is listed as being a 1972 model, its engine capacity is listed as being 2.4cc and not 2341cc or 2.4 Litres and the paint colour is given as being different from that shown on the 'A' pillar, it might be a modern number for the old colour. The 1962 356B Super 90 Coupe is listed as being a "Super 9 Coupe". The only car that is 100% correct is the 356C sold originally by AFN the other two being imports. The certificates are nice to have but I would have preferred them to be accurate.
