We have been invited to attend the classic car show to be held at the The Swan Inn, Chaddesley Corbett's on Saturday 30th August from
12-00 till 6pm

The show is in aid of the Ladies Beware of Breast Cancer charity, which we can all agree is a worthwhile cause and so there will be a donation of £10 per car and it would be nice to see a few Porsches from our Region on show.

There will be prizes of the most desirable cars and bikes, which will be judged by "˜Top Gears' Jon Bentley

The Swan Inn is well known for it's first class beers and food and on the day there will be a BBQ and refreshments to enjoy.

Hello Steve,
Sounds good. As a regular in Chaddelsey and some time drinker in the Swan after Cricket matches Id note that the car park is small and the road always full.
Do you know if they plan to close the road? If not I am struggling to see how they can handle a car show unless they open up a the back field - which an be wet anyway.
Regards
Rob

Hi Rob
The show will be held in the rear field which is no longer a farmers field but has been regraded and laid as a large cultivated lawn which is kept mown short, although if it has been raining it could be wet but that is England for you.
Like a lot of external events put on up and down the country it all hangs on the weather but it's for a good cause and there should be a few nice motors about including a few of ours, we hope.
