I've just bought a lovely 944 and would love to meet other Porsche owners in the area. Any room for new blood?

Everyone welcome especially new blood - do you know the meeting place?

Done the route today - wonderful scenery over the moors - directions and map shortly if James Charnley will put on forum.

How many for lunch?

Look forward to meeting you -

Moira & I would love to come, we are not back from Cornwall till the saturday but should be able to make the Sunday ok
Can you email the details times etc
regards Graham

I would quite like to join this trip - Nick, if you are finally off the tarmac at Palma, are you whipping up support from a few R3 regulars ?

Chris

Hi Chris
Didn't have much chance to mention this at the monthly meeting, as the visiting OPC Newcastle Parts Manager gave a rather exhaustive presentation that night (plus the fact that many members follow events on the Forum anyway), however Pat & I are going, and I've suggested to Nick since his return that if any other NE Region members plan on going and would like to travel down together, like yourself, Graham & Moira, etc, we could meet up in Stokesley High Street car park from 9-30am, with a view to leaving at 9-45am prompt for the journey down to Specialist Cars of Malton.
Most importantly though, interested parties need to advise John Holmes of their intention to accept his invitation, as he may need to adjust the advised numbers to Trenchers Restaurant.

Hi Darren
Not sure where you live, but if Stokesley is convenient, you might like to travel down to Specialist Cars of Malton with other NE Region members??
See my response to Chris Bradley which I have just posted a few minutes ago (meet up 9.30am in Stokesley High Street).

PS We can look out for you. What colour is your 944??

Directions on Yorkshire region site - alternative meeting place - The Lion Inn at Blakey Ridge between Hutton le Hole and Castleton where we intend to stop for a photoshoot - probably 12 ish.

Please let me know numbers for lunch.

Thanks
Rita & John

Alan
Its a bit early for us at Stokesley seeing we are just back from holiday, so we will be at the Lion Inn Blakey 12ish

John Save 2 places at Trenchers for Moira & me, have sent you a email just to confirm it

Regards Graham

Hi Graham
Appreciate your comment. Hope you have a nice holiday. See you on Blakey Ridge!!

Sorry, won't be able to join you now for this trip - I've got a commitment Sun pm I can't get out of - have an enjoyable day !

Chris

Put me down for this run out too - I haven't got full management approval yet, but I'm working on it! I'll try and meet up with R3 people in Stokesley, but since I have a habit of setting off late for things, don't hang about for me if I'm not there by the appointed time - I'll probably catch up with you on the Helmsley TT, sorry the Bilsdale road [:D].

So how many R3 people are going now, and do I need to post separately on R7's forum to confirm attendance?

In reply to GCHinton
Graham & Moira will be joining the run at the Lion at Blakey Ridge. Chris Bradley cannot now come. Not sure about Darren, who posted earlier. To my knowledge, there are no other NE Region people going other than Pat & I, however we will still be in Stokesley High Street for 9.30am to leave 9.45am prompt for Malton, just in case there are any others like yourself who may be able to come and would like to travel down together. If you're not there for 9.45am, we'll see you at Malton.
I would suggest that you post John Holmes separately on the R7 forum just to be on the safe side, especially as you will need to advise numbers for your party.

Alan, I'll be at Malton along with Jo & my daughters. Won't be in the Porsche though, I'll be in the oil burner family car [:)]
