Changing Spark Plugs - Without vehicle lift

For those who haven't done it before

Chock Front Wheels

Loosen Road Wheels

Jack up Rear of car and support it on Axle Stands

Remove Rear Wheels

Remove Rear PU 1 Screw behind Wheel at top of PU on each side
2 Screws under each side skirt
1 Screw under side skirt by each silencer
4 Screws in Engine compartment
Drop PU carefully and release electric connector
Remove Silencer Heat Shield (2) 5 screws each side

Remove Silencer 2 Bolts on Main Clamp to

Remove 3 bolts that hold silencer to Silenced Bracket on side of engine
It may be easier to remove 2 long bolts that hold silencer to silencer bracket first

Remove 2 screws that hold the Plug Cover (These may rust but are under 20.00 from Porsche Main Dealer)

Unclip Plug from Coil Pack (3 each side)

Pull coil pack of plug (3 Each side)

Remove plugs (a 3/8 or 1/4 socket set works best)

Replace Plugs

Repeat on other side

If its not been done recently epact some bolts to be seized.

It should all go back in same order

Not a difficult job and no need to go under car

Repeat on other side
