Changng Headlights

I have just bought a 2000 986 S with the orange indicators. I want to change them for the clear ones. Any advice on where to get them? There is a set of LED lights on e-Bay but it seems that they are just LED sidelights and indicators. I would like some more powerful bulbs. Again, any ideas please?

When I had a 911 996, I changed back to orange. More authentic. Mais chacun a son gout

When we changed Tracy's first 986 Boxster to clear lights and upgraded the roof to a glass rear window the company we used has since ceased selling Porsche car parts.
I would assume someone like Design 911 can supply them.
The side indicators and rear ones are not a bad price it's the whole front headlight that are the most expensive but its an easy DIY job.
Cheers Cliff.

There's a guy on Ebay who refurbs them when the coating starts to mist/turn yellow. When he does this, he can also polish off the orange indicator coating before re applying the clearcoat and supply orange bulbs to complete the conversion. Haven't used him but the price was reasonable.

If your lights are very poor (as mine were) try "Osram Nightbreaker Unlimited" bulbs. An easy and cheap (£22 for all four from Amazon) way of upgrading as they were much better and made a lot of difference.
