Hi,
At our R10 monthly meeting last Saturday I mentioned about a charity ball I have arranged in aid of Willen Hospice who cared for my wife. Unfortuantely she passed away last May after a short aggressive battle with cancer at the age of just 45. The level of compassion and dignity shown to my beautiful wife was staggering. Given 78% of their operating costs are covered by charitable donations left me thinking how can I help so that this service remains open to others in need as I don't believe hospital is the right place in certain circumstances.
I have attached a copy of the poster made which gives the majority of details requested should anyone be interested
I would like to understand if there is a contact within Porsche GB whereby I could approach them formally to enquire about a possible donation which could be raffled off in aid of the charity? advice welcome and apologies if this post is not in line with the forum policy, but I feel like the club is now part of my family (the reason why I joined following the passing of my wife).
I have posted within the club events section also for completeness.
Kind regards
Neil
