Chassis fault light

Chassis fault light came on yesterday for no apparant reason, all seems fine on the suspension (air) front. A quick call to the OPC who thought it might be air pressure leakage since it has been standing for the last three weeks whilst we were on holiday. A good few runs today but still the light comes on.

Any ideas or will it be straight to the arms of the eager service department?

I have reached the stage now that I take no notice of any lights or warnings as they seem to cure themselves.I sometimes wonder if it is water ingress on a lot of the duff signals ?

mmm, the poor dear won't fit in the garage so sits out in all weathers. Quite likely then. Give it another couple of days before resorting to the OPC.

Yes my last prob was that the bonnet was not shut but to make sure i got the aupair to sit on it and believe me it was shut.after about 5 applications of 3 in 1 it agreed ..Mind you it could be worse one of my MB's tells me a stop light is duff but it aint .Bring back the Morris Minor all is forgiven

Turned out to be a faulty accelerator/brake sensor which the OPC fixed under extended warranty - and got a free wash!
