the car is a 1981 american import, the number in the door and on the document when it was imported is WPOEA0919(BS161081) and the number inside the front bonnet is WPOZZZ917(BS161081) the end part of both numbers are the same????????????

I own the car had it for about 3 years, I have taken a deposit from a guy in Belgium that is buying the car, but I had to get the log book changed so he could register it in Belgium. The police came to check it out today and said everything is fine and they have seen the same thing on other american imports as long as the end numbers match no problem.
