This is on the 1st of July, if you have not already booked you can turn up on the day. Also I will have tickets for the Porsche and polo for purchase at Chatsworth, the cost is just £5 per car. This is an excellent day out and a large number from the region have already booked why not join us?

Hi,

Whilst awaiting copies of the concours rule from Harriet, could you clarify what rules/class we will be using at our competition?[8|]

Ticket booked, bucket and sponge at the ready, just dont know if I cant be arsed to try and clean the engine after last time (I made the mistake of trying to clean it and had the wonderful idea of starting her over to dry it off- threw black oily water all over my 5 hours of previous hard work [])

Cheers

Craig

Good question Craig, as far as I know it will be the new club rules. These have been passed on to the Judges, therefore cleaning the engine and inside working of the wheels should not be necessary. I will endeavour to contact the Judes for their comments and will post on the forum if different. RO Patrick

Hi Craig -

The 3 classes-

1 Air Cooled 2 Water Cooled 3 Visitors

It is a street concours for cars in regular use - you do not have to clean the engine bay but you should give the rest of the car a good clean - i e body, wheels, interia and boot.

Nigel Graham is running the concours and if you e mail me I will let you have his number if you want to discuss further.

Happy motoring - Randolph

Thanks Randolph, apologies for delay in responding.

I'll be OK with what I know now. Just hope the weather improves!!

Cheers

Craig
