While on the subject of eBay - cop a load of the spoiler on this 944:

Sold! [:D] What, at £12,000! :ROFLMAO: He would be very lucky if he got ¼ of that.
Just what I thought. Personally, I think he'd have got more money for it if he turned the spoiler back into a fridge door and sold it without.

BTW: John, we met briefly at Eynsham last year - My Blue Cabriolet was parked next to Beaky. We spoke while we were cleaning them at the start. I only realised when I saw both cars on this photo: http://www.2ta.co.uk/petrolhead/BKE%20Pics/slides/224_2450_2.html

I`ve considered a steering wheel like that as I find that being quite tall (6` 1") with long legs my thigh tops hit the wheel bottom especially the clutch side

I know what you mean - being 6'3" I have the same problem. I have to drive with my knees wide apart, right knee against the drivers door and left against the centre console, leaving me rather exposed in the event of a bump. Doesn't bear thinking about.

When you think how many members there are it's a small club really. [;)] Good to see you clocking up a few posts on the forum George and I look forward to having a bit more of a chat next time we meet.

This 944 was being "discussed" in a thread on the barryboys website last week along with another 944 and a vauxhall calibra.Needless to say it came in for a bit of stick.
I couldn't resist searching for the posting. For anyone interested, here it is: http://www.barryboys.co.uk/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=25096&start=0&postdays=0&postorder=asc
I find it hard to believe, but there's actually 2 of them!! There should be a law against doing this to one of the few remaining 944's [:'(]

Hi There! It took me a while as I was looking at the posting I made immediately before yours, but I guess you mean this one:

I can certainly see what you mean now!![:D][:D]
