Cheap 944t

Very suspicious, email contact only, no feedback, 15k too cheap.. Smells very fishy. I bet when you contact you will be pressed for payment, the car not available to view, delivery only, guy is away on business etc.

Check the MOT history.........the mileage seems to have gone backwards by 6 miles between July'14 and Sept'15. Not a lot, but odd all the same. Oooh......and it also seems to have lost 250 miles between March '13 and July '14.....very careless [:)]

Thought that driver seat looked more like 150k.. Porsche 944 chairs do not look like that after just 90odd thousand miles. Someone I have spoken with tells me it has been on before. It's a scam. Fresh ebay acc too.
It really is a mine field out there, need to be very careful, be vigilant folks.

The scammers follow market trends, classic fords are constantly being scam advertised however they use the same cars and photos over and over again and all the Ford forums have them marked.

It would appear with the increase in demand for decent 944's the scammers are also on the ball.

Hi Folks, Be careful, It's definitely a scam.
See the contact below from seller, no viewing allowed, just want your pounds....

Due to my location and since view or pick up is not an option I will agree for a 5-7 days of full inspection period ( after the date you receive the car ). This means that you have 7 days to inspect the car for any damages and decide if you want to keep it or not!
Because I will sign eBay's return policy, your money will be insured by them and you will have the option to reject the deal, only if we go through PayPal as well. If this is the case, you will receive a full refund (money back) from PayPal and I will have to take the car back on my cost!
You can read more about it following the link below:

Let me know if the above return policy is acceptable and if you want to purchase the car please confirm your PayPal email for further instructions.

That's the benefit to be in the Club... I am sure some vulnerable public will fall.... sadly....

If not already done, might be worth someone who's on the Facebook 944 turbo owners' pages? posting this as an alert as well?

It's scammier than a scammy thing on a scammy day, but how does the scam work? I thought that PayPal always sided with the purchaser if something wasn't right? Or is there more to it than this?

Oli.

Probably using a hacked account. Will empty it quick and leave the account holder carrying the can.

Our Amy has been a busy little con woman, started got this after enquiring after a cheap Defender!

Had 4 others trying the same BS, some not silly cheap but just cheap enough to garner some interest. If it seems to good to be true, it probably is!
