Cheap 996????

Far too cheap!

Lots of things say "scam" - listed as a Carrera 2 but has 4 wheel drive. Seat belt pre-tensioners didn't come in until the facelift model, IIRC. Says ESP (I assume it's actually PSM). It's got a CD, CD changer, radio & cassette - I wonder how they've squeezed that lot in?

Biggest giveaway is they've only been on ebay for 5 days!

"New Intercoolers" ??? !!!

I think it's a definate 'RED' herring . . . just ran a check on the number plate and it's genuine... so probably a copy of another eBAY add.

Interesting. When I was buying mine (around Nov to Feb time) that one was on Pistonheads for around 17,500 I think - exact same pictures - which seemed about right price for the high mileage. My guess is that it is a scam and they've taken the pics from the earlier advert. Either that or its really going for a higher price and just put in low value on ebay to attact punters and/or reduce the commission.

Whatever you do don't inquire or reply via the hotmail email address he has on item page; you can use the ebay mailing system and hide your email address as most of such auctions are designed to gave your valid email address.

If you guys are certain this picture/car was on Pistonhead with different description then just report this to ebay as the sooner they close the account the better for people who will reply to his hotmail email address.
