One of our members (Andy Yorke) has made me aware of a local event that may be of interest to others. The details are as follows:

On the 11th September it is the 5th Chearsley Classic and Vintage fun day where there will be about 150 vintage and modern classic vehicles on display. The show is open from 12.00 until 6.00pm with exhibitors expected to arrive before 11.30am.

It’s a great day out which includes a flypast by a Hurricane and a Spitfire. All monies raised on the day support the junior cricket coaching sessions.

If anyone is interested entry is free and the link to the website is below. PCGB are not involved.

Terry,

Thanks for the heads up on this event - unfortunately we can't make it - will be driving to Tuscany for a couple of weeks.

Hi Terry,

Yes, over 3,000 miles I reckon.

We're going in my 1965 E Type. Its a roadster, so hopefully will have loads of opportunities for having the hood down!
