The old 924 dilemma ...... is the claimed mileage correct or has it been round the clock? Speaking of which - I thought that KPH speedos had to be changed to MPH in order to satisfy the MOT man ?

when judging mileage a 924 i have a rule of thumb-if it is below 50k-its been round the clock, if if is above 80k-should be ok anywhere in the middle its a guess if you have bought/buying a low mileage example or something that used to be owned by captain kirk. either way i wouldnt touch without a FSH

Old wives tale I'm afraid. The car merely needs a "means of displaying road speed" - it doesn't have to be miles per hour. There are hundreds of LHD cars about in this country with KPH speedos which pass MOT tests on an annual basis (mine included) with no problems at all.

MPH ..... KPH
I did wonder - having heard it a number of times from a friend who was planning to buy a Eunos import or some such. Thanks, Dave, for clearing that one up.
