My Check Strap on my Passenger door is just starting to go. I started to read thought the earlier thread on here a few months ago now but now I can't find it even selecting 365 days option. Is there any other way to get to the info??

I've had 2 quotes so far

1) Remove Door & Wing and cut into A Post weld, paint etc and put back together. 5 days £900 approx

2) Plasma Cut from foot well, weld, paint etc. 2 days £450 + VAT

I'm looking for somewhere close to the Banbury Area (M40 J11) if possible

Thanks

Graham

It used to be "pinned to top" but I suspect it is not getting posted to so much because such a large majority of 993s have now had this job done[]

Has Anyone used one of the Porsche Approved Repair Body Shops? The 3 I've rung are

1) Rushock in Drotwich - Door and Wing Off
2) Dick Lovett in Swindon - Only Door Off
3) Elite Motors in Northampton - Only Door Off

All the prices are between £550>£750 + VAT

They all have loan cars and take between 3 to 5 days

Thanks

Graham

If you're near to Northway, have you tried Specialised Paintwork? They're behind OPC Reading and give club members a 10% discount.

I've used them b4 would expect to be another £100 on top, modern paint are just round corner from Northways and the car is being done whilst there, which is more convenient as I live 45 miles away
