Another combination of pairs should give you zero ohms... But one combination should be around 900.
If you do not get between 850 and 1000 ohms on a multi meter the sensor is dead, or more likely the cable between the connector and the sensor has broken down or gone closed circiut, either way, new sensor is needed.

Expensive yes.. I would love to roam through the Bosch warehouse as I am sure there will be an identical sensor but with a lead that is 10mm shorter or longer that would be a third of the price.
