This is a new event to which the club has been invited to participate. The Chelsea auto legends event in September.

This is the first event of its kind to take place and will display Le Mans race cars in the grounds of the Royal Hospital Chelsea.
Sir Stirling Moss OBE will be opening the show.

Events will take place during the day with a showing of the classic film "Le Mans", helicopter and military displays, and more.

The event is celebrating the 40th anniversary of Porsches first win at Le Mans and Derek Bell and Richard Attwood have been invited as special guests. The club has been asked to put on a good display for the marque, so we are looking for support from the members to attend the event and provide a display.

This looks like a really good event so if you wish to display your car please let either Mark and Claire, or Johnny McGirl (996 Register Secretary) know as soon as possible so that we can put your name forward for a space.
Spaces are limited so first come first served.

Would have really liked to attend this one but I don't arrive back in the UK from Tokyo until late on the 5th which is also my good ladies Birthday.

I think the Orange beast would have be right at home with the other rare cars.

That's odd, we are off to Tokyo later in the year [8D]

Shame you won't be able to make it Nick [&o]
