As you may have read briefly in Porsche Post, a new event on Sunday 5th September 2010, allows all club members, all Regions/Registers to attend and display their Porsche, located in the grounds of the Chelsea Royal hospital, (home of Chelsea flower show) fund raising for the famous Chelsea pensioners is the paramount goal, celebrating 40 years of the Le Mans film, many supercar clubs and manufacturers are attending, we are booked in for a stand and will be adjacent to Porsche Cars GB, please book your place using the form on the website www.chelseaautolegends.com quoting Porsche Club member on the form
Please email myself john McGirl on 996@porscheclubgb.com for our own inhouse listings please once pre-booked quoting your details and car model variant.

We met the organisers at Silverstone classic, they are true enthusiasts and Haymarket team members, Robin even married recently using a 917 as a wedding car!

As this is reasonably short notice as of our publications etc please spread the word to your colleagues and members at club nights etc, pre-boook as above requested and we will with the help of the board try to provide some form of club membership hospitality at the event.

Gary Sorrell is kindly bringing his Routemaster London bus..and if it rains..we can get on board!
Sir Stirling Moss, Derek bell, Richard Attwood and David Piper are some of the motor racing celebrities attending, obviously Porsche play a big part in this historic event and we hope many of you will attend, support and enjoy a great event, we firmly believe this will ensue in a popular take up of motor enthusiasts so a broad spectrum of supercar is anticipated.

Andrew Kenyon, John Sims, Chris Clark and Barry Smith are all intersted and will attend if they possibly can and offer to help with progressing our stand, (Regional Director/motorsport) Chris Clark is defintely attending and I will relate all information to Chris as we proceed with the stand layout and bookings. -please feel free to contact Chris/myself for any help/guidance.

Many thanks and I hope this helps for now, the agreed £20 entry is fair and goes to a great cause.
We are officially running under R20 London, Boxster and 996 Registers as a joint venture of organising, unfortunately Mark & Clare are at the factory visit but weill promote to all Boxster register members, Kish is avaialble for London members, however a good spread of the registers and car model variants is desired.

Best rergards
