New member
Just managed to get my hands (or rather my wife did) on a Maxi-Cosi Rodi which fits perfectly into the rear seats. Note this is not the XP model, which doesnt fit.

In short, there will be a Porsche prince seat soon for sale ---any offers contact me on: jforsyth@oilflowsolutions.com or tel 01467 671117

Happy Christmas and New Year to everybody on the forum

Sincerely

Jeff, Lesley Anne & James

I might have to retract the Porsche Prince for sale sign - wife's just told me she's pregnant and its no way she is giving up driving the 911

On the subject of child seats in the rear, does anyone else find the Rear seat belts very short for fitting around the child- seats,we have just Bought a Mamas and papas Pro tec that fits a treat as a seat, but the rear belt won't fit around it....Same with the Porsche prince-belt not long enough...,am i missing something[]???Is there an extention kit available??Any Tips appreciated.

You would be best getting longer belts fitted or alternatively getting an extender. There's a well known company that does a lot of these rear seat Porsche conversions but I can't for the life of me think of the name. It will come back to me or somebody else will chip in with it.

Hi James, how are you and your family keeping ?

Did you ever buy a 964 ?

Sincerely

jeff

Hi Jeff,

All the girls are well thanks [:D]

Unfortunatly house renovation costs & a new triple garage meant my 964 budget kind of disappeared .... but my wife is still wanting another 911 for herself to run around in daily so a 964 might oneday be in the garage [;)]

In the mean time I have bought her an old MX5 & this for daily duties

James good to hear your in good form.

Have a look at the Scottish forum to see what happened when we returned after the Christmas break.

Sincerely

Jeff

Bought Mamas and Papas Protec, fits well in rear apart from the belt...The extention kit from Porsche is nearly 100 quid for 20cm so rather than risk it in the end i am having the seat fitted by ABS Quickfit Middlesex on Tuesday...Long trip....[],But the seat will be fitted properly at least.

Just Got back from Quickfit ABS in Middlesex, they fitted the Mamas and Papas protec seat by whipping out the Porsche rear seat belt replacing with a new longer item that fits around the seat,at last we have a safe baby seat installed!![:D]Anyone looking for a forward facing babyseat that is comfortable and fits the back of a Fan cooled 911 can give them a bell and they will email pics to you...
On the way back popped by the guys at Promax of Brackley who fitted my new steering wheel and gearshift gaiter/knob,looks so much better.[:D]
