Child Safety

Does anyone know if and where I can get the rear seatbelts upgraded?
I sometimes wedge two of my children (age 8 and 5) into the back seats. They tend to sit forward to see out and I am very worried that in an impact the standard seatbelt would not retain them before their faces hit the the hard backs of my sportseats. I keep telling them to sit back but it doesn't work for long.
I would like to be able to belt them right back into the seats such that they cannot lean forward. Any ideas ?

I had a lot of hassle finding a correct baby seat that would fit my C2S. The porsche supplied seat was very poor and in the end someone on this site gave me the details of Quick Fit Safety Belt Services 0208 206 0101. They supplied a very good seat but more to the point supplied a new adjustable belt as the original belt was not long enough.

I fitted the new belt myself which was not too difficult. They have to be worth a call as they have had a lot of experience with 911's. Their service is very good also.

Stephen,

Have the belts already been extended? If you (or someone else) has had child seats in the back then it is likely they have, so you might need a reversal rather than an upgrade!

The guys at Stanmore seem to be the most recommended (can't remeber their name off hand but can look it up if you need it.)

Isn't ether wonderful ... Teee was replying the same time as myself!

Quick Fit Safety Belt Services ... that's the Stanmore outfit!

I put two four point harnesses in the back for my 6 and 4 year olds last year. I got Quickfit to make up the belts (in navy webbing) and got Pickup Motorsport to install them. Reason being is that to drill the mounts they needed to drop the engine a little. Not a major job but beyond Quickfit.

All works very well.
