Child seat air bag deactivation-Caution

All,

Please be aware, whilst checking the Department for Transport website to try and find the pending MOT changes I noticed a "View Vehicle Recall" facility. I put in a 993 and came up with the following:

retro fit child seat air bag deactivation- 993, 993 Turbo 986 (89MY V) & 996 (90 MY W)

Basically there can be a faulty connection within the housing. This doesn't affect me; however I thought it irresponsible for me not to raise it. May all have been sorted out but could be a very easy miss for an OPC considering a number of vehicles were not recalled for the wiring loom.
