Hi,

I purchased a Recara Young Expert Plus and it does not fit in my rear seats. The base is too wide. Can anyone recommend a seat that will fit in the back using only my rear seat belts?

Off topic, but i am trying to compile a list of the 47 RHD 3.6 turbos that came to the UK.Can you share any details ( Colours, options etc ). Also i recommend you visit the Rennlist site which is a great resource for our cars ) I dont expect you to post reg no , chassis number but you could e-mail me at jaashcroft@hotmail.com. Cheers, jonny

Hi Al,

if my memory is correct there were kid´s seats as original Porsche spare part for the 964. These are - as far as I know - the only ones which really fit. Maybe they are still available by Porsche.
Hope that helps,

Regards,

Hartwig

For children up to about 4, the Porsche Prince fits - not sure if it's still available new but they come up on eBay. I've also heard that the Maxi Cosi Rodi fits, for kids up to the legal height when they don't need a seat, but haven't tried it myself yet.

I bought a Maxi Cosi Rodi XP for £80 from Mothercare for my 3-year old after the Mothercare baby seat expert pronounced it a good fit in the back seat of my 965 3.3. The earlier version (non-XP) is cheaper (£50ish), although the XP got the highest rating in a review, so I bought that instead.

Thanks for all the feedback. I picked up a Porsche Prince on eBay for a little over £100 plus postage. My 12 month-old loves me even more!!!
