HI,as any one got or know any member who might have a porsche prince seat for sale?Having tried to buy one from OPC I was told that they have been discontinued 8-9months ago.Does any one have any knowledge of another seat which can be used,I have 1972 911 coupe, many thanks.

what age is your child? I am using a Maxi Cosi Rodi from SBSQuickfit for my eldest ( now 4 yrs old). I also use a Britax freeway for my 1 yr old, although this take a bit of effort to make it fit well

Hi, our son is 14months old.thanks for the ebay link will take alook.I went to halfords (a local superstore) they told me a sparco extreme/first will fit but i'd have to convert my rear lap belts to a three point system. This can be done but i believe I would have to weld strengthening plates onto the rear parcel shelf panel to accept the top ancore belt,as any one had the same job to do and what to avoid ,do to make it easier

I have fitted 3 points to the rear of my car. I would not think of taking my daughters out in the car with only lap belts fitted. You do not need to weld plates in, just fit spreader plates. Again SBS quickfit have been helpfull with this

as an update from me .... I have just fitted my SBS supplied 3 point seat belt for the 2nd time & I can still not get it to work... it keeps locking [] This has been back to SBS once already .

Anyway, the other rear seat in my car has a 3 point seatbelt fitted that I sourced from a 993 coupe & works superb. Looks like I'm now going to get another 993 mech for the other side now [;)]

Hi thanks for that note on the sbs,i've got to call a lady called Eve after thursday at sbs quickfit as no one else can give me a quote for my car!I'll also get a quote for 993 belts ,Brett

another update after spending last night in the garage [:D]

The SBS supplied reel has to be mounted horizontally so needs a 'cheese shaped' mounting plate to mount on the 911's angled rear shelf. I have not been supplied this which is why when its mounted direct to the shelf the reel locks. I'm hoping to get this mount sorted soon [:D]
