Aug 3 - R21 Club Night
We are back at the Royal Oak, Chipperfield, WD4 9BH from 7:30pm onwards for a social evening. Members of all regions welcome.

Aug 4 - Classics on the Green, Croxley
This has been great free Wednesday evening event for a number of years (donations to Charity). Porsches tend to arrive from 3pm onwards and stay until late on Croxley Green, The Green (by Baldwins Lane), Nr Watford, Herts. This is a popular annual event for many car clubs and worth attending. There are food outlets but many of us bring a picnic and enjoy the evening.

Directions to our regular parking location:
As you drive on to The Green from the road, turn right. Drive down the car track parallel to the road. Cross over a car track and enter the second field. Keep driving parallel to the road for about 200 hundred yards then turn left and aim for the back tree line. R21's regular location is on the back tree line near to the toilets.

Aug 22 - Classics at Tewin (ADVANCED BOOKING REQUIRED)
Once again I am taking reservations for display spaces at the Classics at Tewin event to be held on Upper Green, Tewin, AL6 0LX from 11am until 4pm. We had a great time at the 2008 and 2009 events but places are now limited due to the rapidly-expanding popularity of this annual event. If you wish to display your Porsche please email me Driver Name, Model, Year and Registration.

The Friends of Tewin community group organise this event to raise funds for local projects, such as refurbishment of the pavilion, which you may well see on the day. Therefore, to secure a display space I request a £2 donation per car or, £3 if you would like souvenir badge of the event.

As well as the superb vehicle display, there will be a wide range of stalls representing local craft enterprises, produce and charities. There will also be Morris dancers, music, refreshments, burgers and pig roast to purchase. Members are welcome to bring a picnic, and food is also available at the two local pubs: The Plume of Feathers is by the south end of Upper Green, and the Rose and Crown is about half a mile further south.

Sept 4 - Porsches, Planes & Lunch (ADVANCED BOOKING REQUIRED)
Arrive at 11am to display your Porsche with the planes, enjoy lunch (possibly BBQ) and if you wish, have a 30 minute flying lesson (£75) or take a 20 minute flight (£36 depending on numbers). Please email r21@porscheclubgb.com if interested in lunch at Panshanger Aerodrome, near Hatfield (see their website - although not currently working - and photoshoot with the planes. Also indicate if you would like a flying lesson or 20 minute flight.
