chip guards

My new 991S has just arrived in cardiff, Have just received some pictures of it but it does not have chip guard, (the clear film in from of the back wheels). I thought a new car will be supplied with these.
 
Yes, it will have the guards (or at least is should have[:D]) but they are quite unobtrusive, only the edges really show up.

You need to get your status changed to PCGB Member btw! Let Club office know if you have a problem.

Better still get Nick Phelps (another Porsche nut) to cover the car in Ventureshield.
Lots of friends running Porsches have done this. I know of at least two GT3 4.0 Litres that have had the full package. Means that the whole of the car is protected. In my experience small flying stones deviate just enough to hit just where the paint `shields` end! Just about to get my car done but also considering whether to go for a coloured version just to confuse everyone...[;)]
