Hi,can anyone offer any advice,I've bought a chip for my 91 c4 and removed the ecu, taken the top cover off and found two circuit boards one mounted above the other.I assume to install the chip I need to remove the top board,if this is the case can anyone tell me how?The instructions say remove ecu, remove cover, install chip. This should take twenty minutes apparently,I've been staring at it blankly for longer than that and still nothings happened,am I missing something or am I just stupid.

Look at the front of the main connector, and you should 2 vertical tabs at the extremes of the upper row of pins. Carefully insert a flat screwdriver in each side to push the tabs inward.
Whilst the tabs are pushed in, you then need to try to pull out the top board (having released the plastic board spacers from their holes) out.
It's not easy trying to keep the screwdrivers in place and pulling the top board. Mine was very tight, but with some worrying force, and persistance, it finally released.
There are some pictures on the Rennlist forum if you're registered on it (highly recommended anyway). Hope this helps.

I have an instruction sitting at home that describes with some pics on how to do it. Will see that I get it 4 you until Monday.
Anyways, Mr PG's suggestion is the correct way. From my experience though it is much easier to push the top port out rather then pulling it out. Also, what really makes it easier, is pushing the top board down a bit by the side where the pins are located and then pushing it out.
