Chip shop run 18th July

Yes Brian it is still on, I just logged in to put a post on, but you have beat me to it. I only got back from holiday on Friday and straight to a Wedding, then a Party last night.

Anyway, West Coast Fish and Chip Run, meeting at Porsche Glasgow 6.30 for a 6.40 departure (not 7.00 as per Scott's email) as Wee Hurrie closes at 8.00. We will have a brisk run to Troon and hopefully arrive around 7.30.

please post here if you are coming or email Scott.

Thanks Alan.

Weather not looking to good for Wednesday night ..do you have a plan B ..will just meet you down there or on route

Why did you have to mention weather? If it's wet now it's your doing. lol.

If it's wet, then we could go to Scott's in Troon, kind of depends on numbers though as 30 of us turning up out the blue wouldn't go down well.
Open to suggestions for alternatives, any other ideas.

Alan.

Alan,

I will send reminder out today on email, there are a few planning on attending and a couple planning on seeing you there,

will depend on the weather on the night how many actually turn uo

cheers
scott.

Won't be along as I'm trying to keep Wednesdays clear for my IAM training on the bike. Getting closer to the test! Currently Porsche-less anyway [:(][:(][:(]. Have a good evening.

Might catch up with you en-route or down in troon - will struggle to get over to OPC for that time.....

With forecast tonight Chip Shop Cruise would be more accurate

But weather permitting may appear with cameraman in tow

Weather this evening in Troon looks OK (by that I mean no monsoon type downpours) according to this site.

http://www.wunderground.com/cgi-bin/findweather/getForecast?query=zmw:00000.14.03136&hourly=1&yday=199&weekday=Wednesday

Suggest anyone with good information that conditions en route are poor enough to cancel should post up nearer the time.

Andrew

Weather seems to be clearing fingers crossed

What route are you taking to Troon Brian PM if required

Tonight's run will go ahead unless it turns to Snow.

We will be leaving Porsche Glasgow at 6.40 sharp, head along M8, then onto M77 and cut off at J5 ( which is at top of GSO road) we can regroup there (6.50ish) if that is better suited to some. I will bring copies of route tonight.

See you all tonight, Alan.

I will sit on the slip road at the end of the GSO road as it meets the M77 and join you there .If not there will just go direct to WH in the Skoda [:D]
