Chips?

Guest

Hi,
Has anyone chipped their 3.2's?
I was reading the US forums and many swear that the Steve Wong chip transforms the car.

Anyone tried this chip or any other chip?

Just check out the past threads on this forum, but those of us with Steve Wong chips http://www.911chips.com./ are all well pleased.

The chips are:-
Very effective.
Easy to fit.
Cheap (as chips) - sorry couldn't resist.

Steve will create a chip to suit the individual spec of your car - he is a top bloke.

Steve wong is the chip God!!!

I have never seen or heard any bad reviews - treat yourself for christmas Amolak you will not be disappointed

Ditto - there is already lots of informed debate on this forum. Try a search.

If you want to spend a little more cash look for Wayne Schofield (Chip Wizards), who does most of the mapping of 3.2 race cars (among others) in the UK. He custom maps on the dyno so it costs a bit more but if you want to spend the £££ then this is the best you can get.

While I happily run a SW chip I would note that if you expect it to be like bolting on a turbo, you will be disappointed. Its a fairly subtle upgrade.

Yes Amolak . £ for £, the Steve Wong chip is very cost effective. Lots of words have been written about chips - here and elsewhere.

I'm on V6.0 of the Steve Wong chip, and like Andy mentioned, he will "tailor" your chip to your car.

Very flexible.

Hi All, Just a quick note to say I now have stock of Steve Wongs chips here in the UK. I have also fitted one to my car and its great. I have versions suitable for most basic variances such as sport exhausts, induction kits etc etc, I guess if you have a 3.4, or run throttle bodies or a supercharger I would have to get them from Steve. Price is £165+vat which includes overnight delivery.

Look forward to hearing from anyone interested.

Hi Amolak
I thought I would give it a try and put a new chip in the car July time, read a lot of reports on the differant chips and cost
Read a good report about a guy making them for 944s and he was starting to make them for the 3.2 so contacted him to see how far he had got, after a few emails new chip came and fitted.
I`ve never looked back the car drives like a differant car now pulls more in all revs and top ends out higher so at £ 40 for said chip I think I got a bargain[:D][:D]
The chip is from Blitzchips do a search your self and see what you come up with
