Christmas bash

Hi,

I would like to extend my thanks to Ian and Paul for the excellent weekend. Saturday started off at Brecon on a very wet and rainy morning. However the drive made up for it. My wife enjoyed the drive and as this as her first event had not really enjoyed or appreciated the driving in convoy. My confidence in pushing my car a little bit more must be getting better as my wife felt sea sick with the more spirited acceleration.

Always enjoyed this as I learn so much from watching how people drive with later braking and taking the apex of bends. Gets me to push that bit more. However at times I am convinced the cars I follow must have no brake lights!!!!

Paul's hospitality was exceptional, a really great afternoon and evening. However Sunday morning was a real surprise! Regarding the silver car may be just may be I will get to see one again!!!

Good company, food + drink, cars and the start of a great Christmas.

Regards Alan

Hi Alan
Glad you enjoyed the weekend,we did having you all at the hotel and garage. The hangover caught up with me after you had all gone home!
Early 911 are great fun,get one some time,or come along to a track day that we are at with the early cars.

Paul

Good evening ladies and gents
I'm now the very pround owner of a white 911sc 1978 with sport pack. Had it a week now and loving every minute. Wife thinks (knows?) I'm mad driving with the roof off in this weather. Well the sun was shining when I left home!
I'd like to get involved/join in/have fun with you guys. I live 12m north of Carmarthen and up for almost anything.
Look forward to hearing from you.
Paul

Great week-end, thanks to all concerned, especially Paul, family and team! These early cars MUST be quick - I had two Boxster drivers struggling to keep up with the 914/6...........[8D]

Happy Christmas to all, and roll on next year!

We all know these early cars are quick around the lanes and hills, good job macmad was not with us in his 914 !!!
After you all went home i ended up going back to bed at 3pm,next thing it was 7pm and a clearer head.
I got some wood in the other day for the hotel, and the pile of logs did make me smile,Put another log on the fire peter!!!!!!!!
Merry xmas

We were so disappointed not to be able to join in the fun. Sounds like you had a wicked time. Maybe next year. Sick daughter now recovered and back at uni. She was in a sorry state so we do forgive her !

Happy New Year to all

Hi Ian,
Couldn't agree more with Alan - an excellent weekend with terrific cars at PC Bristol followed by a most enjoyable time at Royal Lodge. Great to meet up with old friends again!
Look forward to seeing your calendar for 2010!
Best wishes to all for a very merry Xmas,
Andy
