Our Christmas dinner will take place at 8pm on 14th December, where we will also have entertainment by 3's A Crowd. We have a choice of 4 starters, 4 main courses, including a vegetarian dish, 4 deserts, coffee and mince pies, all for the modest price of £22 per person. Would all those wishing to attend, please send cheques made payable to PCGB to:

"Blakes"
Fir Tree Lane,
Little Baddow,
Chelsmsford,
CM3 4SS.

Please provide your name, postal address, telephone number and e-mail address.

Early booking is advised to avoid disappointment. [:D]

Would that be the same easy listening ensamble as 3's Company we had last year - great music but forgetable name. [;)] With plenty of practice time left, if anyone has any special requests we might even be able to slip them in to the extensive, but unoffensive, repertoire.

Number such as:-

The Boxster - by Simon & Garfunkle
2.9.6.8's Motorway - Tom Robinson Band (I think?)
anything by Christina Av'a'Carrera

whilst perhaps appropriate may not make the play list.

I have a feeling we might even have special guest members "Cool" Nick Fern and "R.C." Cannell with the public debut of "The RMS Song"

Gosh! I'm going then. [:)] I shall get Dearly Beloved to sort out the cheque forth with.

We had a great time last year with as many Essex members as I've seen at any one event so I'd "book early to avoid disapointment"

Will there be a video /DVD for those of us from further afield?

Perhaps we could sell copies for a contribution to charity? This said, whilst the lyrics are very good I am concerned that the presentation may not be top ten material. I have no doubt that it will be entertaining though.

I think we should make it black tie so all the scruffs are made to brush up at least once a year!

I resemble that remark [:D]

I'm up for that but I think we should get a consensus as I think there might some who would be put off by the idea.

Excellent play list, John.

I fear that Nick & I may be unable to provide the live rendition due to contractual obligations to our record company, Ferrari. We will be busy promoting the RMS songs in the run up to the 'xmas no.1' spot. [:D][:D][:D]

Black tie - in the Porsche dictionary is something to help prevent your RMS from failing?
