Hi Folks,

Well I know it's the height of summer, but now is the time to start thinking of those chilly winter nights, and to cheer ourselves up we're organising the annual Christmas Do.

After a fantastic meal at Hardwick Hall Hotel last year we have decided to have a meal at their sister Hotel of Ramside Hall, but with christmas being a busy time for most of us we have decided to have it in January.

The Date: Saturday 24th January 2015

The Meal Deal: 3 Course meal in the Rib Room for £35 per person. We can select from their main menu, with some of the more expensive items attracting a supplement. (More details to follow once the numbers are confirmed)

The Rooms: Reduced rate of £95 per room for a superior double (You will be responsible for booking your own room but an online discount code will follow once we have booked)

I will need all names by the Septembers meeting with the full payment for the meal at the same time.

Below is a link to the Ramside Hall Hotel website so that you can take a look!

It would be great to see old faces and meet new members at this lovely venue, we look forward to having a tasty meal, and maybe a glass of wine or two (Alison) with you all.

Hi Chris. That sounds really good! You can put us down for that & we will book the hotel as soon as possible.

Hi All those attending the Christmas party

I finally have the code for the hotel rooms if you wish to stay the night.

The code is MET2401 and will work right up to the event, assuming there are rooms free.

The code works online as I have already booked ours! You can use the link in my original post to find the site.

We're looking forward to the having a nice relaxing meal with you all.
