My Farewell gift from Yorkshire region.
I would like to say a big thank you to all the members of the Yorkshire region that contributed to the very generous farewell gift to Diana and myself that was presented at the Region Christmas lunch last Sunday. It was much more than I expected. I was also very touched by the words that Wayne used in his introduction.
I shall have much pleasure in choosing some books about Porsche and Porsche people to add to my collection. In this way it will be a regular reminder of the many good friends and enjoyable times with the Yorkshire region over many years.
I have been delighted with the increase in the level of activity in the region over the past eighteen months. It is very encouraging to see new members appear at 'The Crown' one month and return in subsequent months. The many different runs organised by various members have helped. The Black Sheep brewery trip and Dales run to Hawes were some of the best 'Sundays out' this year. Many thanks to Emma for arranging an excellent venue for the Christmas lunch and all those that contributed prizes for the raffle.
Drive and enjoy your cars and see you in 2006.
