Elliott - How is progress on the Christmas lunch?
Thought there might have been reference in the Porsche post, re - details & times!

Elliott, Likewise. Julie and I have been in Belgium for a few days and having returned, expected to see something on the Xmas bash. If you post a reply just ignore the voice and e-mail. Cliff

Emails sent out today to everybody in region with menu and details. Really busy at work and bit depressed that i am not driving the 993 as much as i would like Elliot

G'day, My wife & I have just arrived in the UK from Australia this past week, and now we are up in Lincoln (for 3 years). I just signed up with the club this morning and I saw the post about the Xmas lunch, please let us know the details, we'd certainly be interested in getting out and meeting some of you and getting to know the area. Cheers, Wayne & Sonja

Can I ask why all the cloak and dagger PM stuff? I'm a forum member and 911 SC owner based near Scunthorpe (but not too near [:D] ) and would gladly pop along. Maybe some of the club members could convince me of the benefits of club membership instead of using the funds to tick off another job on the neverending list...

Not sure what you mean about cloak and dagger and using funds as every thing organised is paid for by members on top of the membership fee. I suggest you post any direct questions you have and you are welcome to join us in December for the xmas meal. Regards

Oh no! I wasn't casting aspersions regarding club funds! I meant my own funds being used to help with the neverending list for my SC. The question was why are the details not posted on the forum instead of being sent via PM? I'd like to meet fellow enthusiasts and wondered why the need for keeping details secret.

Thanks for arranging the Crimble lunch Elliot, just wondering if anyone woud be up for a short excursion out of the county over the Christmas break weather permitting, I'm thinking Rutland to far side of leics Market Bosworth way with either a breakfast or lunch along the way. We can speak at the weekend about details although it might have to be very short notice due to weather ie no salted roads. Cheers Paul

A Big thank you to Elliott & Paul for arranging Christmas lunch at a very warm & cosy venue. I think the quiz was very engaging & as it progressed very competitive - well done Graham the winner. Merry Christmas to all. Richard & Pam
