Christmas Meet Anyone? (Southern)

Ex Skyline

New member
Just testing the waters (after the Brighton Hoon fiasco ). Maybe a Saturday afternoon bit of grub/curry/beer?? Just a thought [8|].
Our Northern brethren are, of course, very welcome to join us IF any xmas meet goes ahead. [:)] We did this a couple of years ago if I remember correctly. Apart from the choice of venue/food, it wasn't too bad [;)].

put me down as a possible..depending on date/venue etc I have no idea what I'm doing yet but I'm sure SWMBO will....:)

Pete

Looks like just me and you for the moment Pete'. Lets see how this progresses over the next couple of weeks (I wont hold my breath) [:D]!! Col' this aint the Le Mans thread 2017. It's the Christmas Pig out thread for 2016!! But since you asked, we were thinking of the Nurburgring 24hr rennen next May, there's 8 of us going if you and Craig fancy it? Might not be able to do both mate, not sure. [:)].

Tentative interest here too.

Andy, I think the plan is for victuals. Does having the front end of your car stripped down prevent you from consuming? [:)]

Oli.

Hi guys, sorry for the delayed response, don't seem to be able to find the time these days to get on here very often []!! Anyway, I was thinking Saturday December 10th for a lunchtime gathering. Either down here in Brighton (I can arrange a venue if people let me know what they like to eat) or, somewhere in London South of the River or, Surrey/Kent borders. What do you all think? Or, shall I just "Bin" the idea? There's some great places down here for a Christmas nosh up/booze up and, a good rail service to and from London and other area's [8D][:D]! Ok, I will leave this with you but, if you want to go ahead with a Christmas meet, don't take too long with a show of hands as places tend to get rather full up that time of year!! Cheers guys [:D].

Pete'.

hope to make it Pete, ...still, a bit far off to confirm but fingers crossed all should be good...

Pete

Ok, times getting on and, I would need to sort out a venue so what do you all say (those who are interested in a December meet up)?
Brighton/Surrey/Kent/South London or, "Bin" the idea completely [8|]. It was only an idea for a few drinks and a Xmas curry for like minded forum buddies is all and, no big deal. If no one fancies it, just forget I ever posted. Cheers guys.

Pete' (Ex Skyline) [8D]

Oops, sorry Pete, so you did. In that case it's a (very unhelpful) 'Maybe' from me; I may be abroad at that time but will come if I can.

Why not South London? Well, do you want a list? (Other than that it's hard to get home from when it's late at night and I'm Brahms-and-Liszt ... ) [:)]

Oli from North London.

No takers? Lets pull the plug on this idea [8|]. Going out with some Lotus Cortina owners on Saturday in Brighton for Christmas curry and, gallons of Jap' lager [8D][:D]!! Shame its not with Porsche owners but hey.....etc,etc!! 'Ave a good un' [:D].
