Just picked up my plating from London and Brighton (thanks Nick) they did a lovely job! Want to see the pics? or is that a bit sad?[;)]

I' ve no idea on how much these things cost?

I had a box of bits colour passivated zinc plated by London and Brighton for £80

All the suspension fixings, spacers and plates
Injection pipes and throttle linkages
engine pullets
fan housing clamp
miscellaneous nuts, bolts, washer front and rear latches etc.

I will get some pics shot asap.
I had the generator shroud, coil strap, gen strap, oil can strap, a few bolts and shifter grill (between seats) chrome plated and the cost was £78.
The thing with chrome plating is the amount of polishing which affects the cost. If it' s a bad surface you get bad plating. It is not just a case of bunging it in a tank. It is stripped, polished, plated with base, then chrome plated.
Lots of work in other words.
But worth it huh[;)]

Horn grills:
Not sure how easy they are to plate as they are an alloy. Some people can do it but best to check first.

looks very [8D] m8 can u send me the phone number please o and cheers for the other numbers[;)]
