CHROME DIAL BEZELS

Forgive my ignorance - I'm a newbie PCGB Member- just got myself a '79 911SC (My Dad, Tom, may have mentioned the fact on this forum)...

I have picked up a set of those CHROME DIAL BEZELS from Design911. Regarding fitting - there are no instructions. Are these meant to just cover the existing black bezels? If so there must be a little force involved in getting them to fit flush, because mine do not - or are you meant to remove the old ones and replace?

Take off what is there currently and push the new bezels over the gauge surround. Crimp them with the most blunt flat bladed/headed instrument you can find from the rear taking care not to mark the visible chrome. Be patient and allow 15mins for the large gauges
