Cigarette Lighter

Hello,

Can anybody tell me what the porsche part number is for a cigarette lighter for a 986 boxster and what sort of price they are?
Also will any other lighter fit?
Is ebay any good to find one of these parts?
Some ******* scrote pinched mine from the car today. Mindless sods. I could kill them.

Thanks for the help
Dave

You have to buy the whole lot, including the bit which goes in the dash. The original 986/996 part has been replaced by a 997 item. I don't know if the actual element from the 997 unit fits into the 986 one though.

Part Number, (MY 02-): 997.652.101.00.A05 - £9.47 +VAT.

I have a spare lighter part, the bit that heats up for those that still smoke (albeit from a 987). I'll be back home mid week, so PM/email me your address and i'll forward it on to you.

Regards,
David

They do list a "plug socket gloss black" for the M580 Non-smokers pack, part number 996.652.103.00.A01 at £3.79 +VAT, which might be a blanking plug?
