Hi guys,

My mate who runs Motorpunk magazine has arranged this years Car Club 18-30s event.

It is an open pit lane trackday at Blyton Park on the 1st of August for only £80.

He'll be there with his 968 sport, I'm booked in, there's a 996 and a 924S registered as well as a load of other suitably aged qualifying cars.

Full info is here: http://motorpunk.co.uk/about/the-motorpunk-car-club-18-30-event-pay-80-by-28th-march-for-an-opl-day-at-sunny-blyton-on-friday-august-1st/

It would be great to see some other 944-ers there, especially those (like me) for whom Bedford is a bit too far :)

If anyone needs instruction during the day, R4 has 3 instructors available, who all coach regularly at Blyton Park. Remember R4 have their own Track induction day on 30 May, open to all Porsches and PCGB members, at £100 for the day, includes all tuition.

Blyton Park will be providing instruction on the day, details for pre - booking this will be posted up on the Motorpunk page.

Graham - if anyone wanted to sort their own instruction out privately then they'd need to email the guys at Motorpunk directly first as I'm not sure what the contractual/insurance obligations would be.

I'm going to this too but I'm batting for Munich rather than Stuttgart [:)]

Looks like it'll be great fun, a real mix of cars. I'm especially looking forward to seeing the 3.0CSL hooning around.

I'm taking this:

I'd have thought you'd be a definite! - be sure to say hi!

Shame you don't mean you'll be bringing that "proper" Aston!

I don't think the owner of the Virage would be best pleased if I pinched it for a bit of high speed testing!

The E12 will also totally and utterly blow it into the weeds.
